What is Hastelloy B3 Bars and Rods?

Hastelloy B3 contains high nickel (~65‑75%), molybdenum (~20‑25%), with minor chromium and trace of carbon. Resistant to pitting and localized corrosion in reducing acid medium. Tensile strength in annealed state is moderate (~550‑700 MPa), elongation fair; good weldability and toughness. Density ~8.9 g/cm³; high melting point (above 1350°C).
