Chung Metal provides a broad array of Hastelloy Bars and Rods in different grades (e.g., C‑276, C‑22, B‑2, B‑3, etc.), designed for intense corrosion resistance, high temperature stability, and mechanical strength in aggressive chemical, marine, and process environments. A particular grade is chosen based on needed resistance to oxidizing or reducing environments, acid types, temperature, and mechanical load. The bars/rods are manufactured with very stringent quality control, proper forging/extrusion, and finishing to provide specification requirements.
All Hastelloy grades are nickel‑based with high chromium, molybdenum, optionally tungsten, and low carbon. Tensile strengths usually ~500‑750 MPa depending on the grade and condition; yield strengths lower; elongations moderate; excellent pitting, crevice, stress corrosion resistance; high melting points (1300‑1450 °C); density ~8.8‑9.2 g/cm³.
