Chung Metal is providing top-grade Nickel Alloy 201 Bars and Rods in Vietnam, which provide enhanced corrosion resistance and better mechanical properties compared to common nickel alloys. Alloy 201 is a low-carbon variation of Nickel 200, created in order to limit the embrittlement risk at higher temperatures. It is appropriate for chemical and electrical applications that require high purity and ductility. Produced under rigorous quality control requirements, our Nickel 201 products provide outstanding performance in harsh environments. Chung Metal ensures timely delivery, size accuracy, and conformity to international material specifications such as ASTM, DIN, and ASME.
Nickel Alloy 201 is comprised of ≥99% nickel with not more than 0.02% carbon, providing superior resistance to graphitization at high temperatures. It provides tensile strength of about 420 MPa, yield strength of about 140 MPa, and elongation of up to 50%. Intergranular corrosion is avoided in the low carbon content, especially in high-temperature use. It retains superior thermal and electric conductance and possesses high impact resistance even at sub-zero temperatures. The alloy is not magnetic when in the annealed condition and possesses a density of about 8.9 g/cm³. It can be easily shaped, machined, and welded.

Yes, Nickel Alloy 201 rods can be welded using various welding techniques, including TIG and MIG welding.
Nickel Alloy 201 bars exhibit excellent corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity, good mechanical properties, and outstanding weldability, especially in reducing environments.
Nickel Alloy 201 rods are available in various sizes, typically ranging from 1/8" to 3" in diameter, and come in finishes such as bright, polished, and cold drawn.
Nickel Alloy 201 rod and bar are extensively used in the handling of caustic solutions, alkalis, and neutral salts. Some of the common uses include food processing equipment, synthetic fiber making, heat exchangers, and chemical plant structural components. The low carbon alloy makes it suitable for applications in equipment where temperatures are above 315°C, with carbon pickup being a problem. In electronics, it is employed in electrical contacts, terminals, and sensors. It is also used in aerospace and shipbuilding industries because of its corrosion resistance and hardness. Nickel 201 provides reliability, durability, and less maintenance.

We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
