This is a medium-strength, high-conductivity beryllium copper grade ideal for applications requiring a combination of mechanical strength and electrical performance. Our certified C17510 stock is dimensionally accurate and heat-treated to customer requirements. C17510 is a lower-strength beryllium-copper alloy containing ~0.5–0.7% Be (below high-strength grades). Has moderate strength (tensile ~450–650 MPa depending on temper), yield slightly lower, and elongation quite good (~20–40%). Has high electrical conductivity (possibly ~65–80% IACS in annealed temper). Hardness moderate. Has good ductility and can be machined in softer tempers; can be heat treated to enhance strength with some retention of conductivity.
