Chung Metal manufactures Carbon Steel EN-24 (V 130) Bars in Da Nang, Vietnam, that provide excellent strength, hardness, and resistance to fatigue. As a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, EN-24 is specifically suitable for applications involving high-stress mechanical as well as structural applications. Chung Metal provides accurate heat treatment as well as finishing in order to reach the optimum hardness and performance. EN-24 (V 130) bars are made to work in situations where high load-carrying capacity and durability are needed. With quality assurance and uniform mechanical properties, Chung Metal provides EN-24 bars that satisfy the most critical engineering needs.
EN-24 (V 130) has 0.36–0.44% carbon, 0.45–0.70% manganese, 1.3–1.8% nickel, 1.0–1.4% chromium, and 0.20–0.35% molybdenum. It provides tensile strength 850–1000 MPa, yield 650 MPa, and elongation 13–15%. The alloy possesses good toughness, fatigue strength, and good wear resistance after suitable heat treatment.
