Chung Metal Manufacturer & Suppliers in Da Nang produces Titanium Grade 7 Forgings, providing tough, corrosion-resistant parts for chemical, marine, and power industries. Grade 7, with improved corrosion resistance through palladium addition, is suitable for severe reducing environments. Our forging plant provides grain refinement, superior structural integrity, and low defects. We have custom geometries, sizes, and close tolerances according to client requirements. Having a solid metallurgical staff and quality control measures, Chung Metal provides forged titanium Grade 7 components relied upon for long-duration, high-stakes service applications.
Commercially pure titanium Grade 7 with ~0.12–0.25% palladium, and residual amounts such as O ≤ 0.25%, Fe ≤ 0.3%. Mechanical properties in forgings are tensile strength ~380–500 MPa, yield strength ~275–380 MPa, elongation ≥20%, and hardness ~70–90 HB. Density is ~4.51 g/cm³. Grain structure is refined by forging and toughness and fatigue life are improved. The addition of palladium enhances crevice corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride or sulfurous media, without losing good ductility and weldability.

Yes, Titanium Grade 7 (Ti-0.2Pd) is highly corrosion-resistant, especially in harsh environments like seawater and acidic conditions, due to the addition of palladium, enhancing its ability to resist corrosion.
Titanium Grade 7 forgings are commonly used in industries like aerospace, chemical processing, marine, medical, and power generation due to their exceptional corrosion resistance, strength, and biocompatibility in challenging environments.
Titanium Grade 7 forgings are available in various sizes and shapes, including bars, billets, rings, discs, and custom configurations, typically ranging from small to large diameters for different industrial applications.
Grade 7 forgings of Titanium are utilized in heat exchangers, chemical processing reactors, and reducing acid-exposed piping. Marine and offshore constructions, particularly under severe saltwater conditions, utilize their corrosion resistance. They find applications in desalination systems, pulp & paper manufacturing, and electrochemical processing. Power plant parts like condensing tubes or cooling elements employ Grade 7 forgings. Where welded, they are applied in high-integrity assembly in aggressive media, and structural or architectural items in corrosive atmospheres.
