What is High Speed Steel T15 Bars ?

HSS T15 will usually contain high tungsten and vanadium content (e.g. ~15% tungsten, with other alloying), carbon ~0.95–1.05%, chromium, and trace molybdenum. It is intended to resist abrasive wear considerably. T15 can be heat treated to ~64–66 HRC or higher, with good wear resistance and acceptable toughness for a high-speed steel. Its hot hardness is better than most conventional HSS grades.
