Chung Metal offers Incoloy 800H Forgings, designed for high temperature, high stress service in hostile environments. Incoloy 800H is a nickel‑iron‑chromium alloy with carbon added for increased creep and stress‑rupture strength. Our 800H forging processes ensure proper grain structure, chemistry uniformity, and excellent mechanical integrity at elevated temperatures. These forgings are applied in components operating at high temperatures like furnace components, pressure vessels, and piping in petrochemical, chemical, power generation, and oil & gas applications where corrosion resistance and high temperature strength are needed.
Incoloy 800H has a composition of approximately 30‑35% nickel, 19‑23% chromium, balance iron, and 0.05‑0.10% carbon. Small additions of manganese, silicon, aluminum, and titanium are present in the alloy. Tensile strength is minimum ~450‑600 MPa (depending on condition), yield strength ~170‑300 MPa, elongation ~30‑45%. High creep resistance at high temperatures (600‑900 °C). Favorable oxidation, carburization, and corrosion resistance at high temperature. Density ~8.0 g/cm³.

The ideal temperature range for forging Incoloy 800H is between 2100°F and 2250°F (1149°C to 1232°C). This range ensures optimal workability and preserves the material’s mechanical properties.
Post-forging operations for Incoloy 800H typically include annealing to relieve stress and enhance ductility, followed by heat treatment to achieve desired mechanical properties. Surface cleaning and inspection for defects are also essential to ensure quality.
