Nimonic 263 has around 50% nickel, 20% cobalt, 20% chromium, and 5–6% molybdenum, with small amounts of titanium and aluminum. It provides high tensile strength (to 1100 MPa) and retains mechanical properties up to 900°C. The alloy is age-hardened and solution strengthened, having good formability and thermal fatigue resistance, as well as weldability.
