Nimonic R04261 is more than 50% nickel with additions of chromium, cobalt, and titanium to impart heat and corrosion resistance. The material offers very good tensile strength within the range 850–1100 MPa and structural stability up to 950°C temperature. It is precipitation-hardened alloy with high creep resistance and exhibits good weldability and oxidation resistance, with a long life for service under thermal stress.
