Tantalum R05400 has ≥99.95% pure tantalum with controlled interstitials for high ductility. It has tensile strength of around 200–450 MPa, yield strength of near 150 MPa, and elongation of more than 30%. It is resistant to acids and retains mechanical strength at high temperatures. Its ultra-high purity improves its performance in electronics and lab-grade applications.

Tantalum R05400 can withstand extremely high temperatures, up to approximately 3,000°C (5,432°F) in a vacuum or inert atmosphere. Its excellent heat resistance makes it ideal for high-temperature applications.
