Chung Metal offers Copper C10400 Bars and Rods, a high-purity oxygen-free copper (OFC) with high electrical and heat conductivity. Composed of at least 99.95% copper, C10400 is suitable for critical electronic and electrical usage. Our rods and bars are manufactured with low oxygen content to avoid embrittlement to ensure high conductivity and superior performance under vacuum or heat conditions.
C10400 is 99.95% copper with <0.001% oxygen. Tensile strength: 220–320 MPa; yield strength: 70–130 MPa; elongation: 35–50%. Electrical conductivity: >100% IACS. It possesses very good thermal conductivity and is ductile and corrosion resistant to a very high degree. It is not magnetic, can be welded, and is usable in vacuum applications.
