Tensile strength varies with temper: annealed or hot‑rolled condition provides ~220‑230 MPa; higher tempers (cold‑worked) can achieve ~350‑400 MPa. Yield strength also increases proportionally. Elongation can be ~45% (soft) to ~5‑20% in harder tempers. Hardness and strength rise with cold working. Good thermal conductivity, very good ductility, and weldability.
