What is Inconel 738 Bars and Rods?

Inconel 738 consists of around 62% nickel, 16% chromium, 9% cobalt, 2.6% molybdenum, and minor elements such as titanium, aluminum, and tungsten. It possesses tensile strength greater than 1000 MPa and yield strength about 800 MPa. The alloy maintains mechanical stability up to 980–1050°C and shows excellent creep and thermal fatigue resistance, as well as high oxidation and corrosion resistance in severe operating conditions.
