Chung Metal provides a broad variety of Inconel Bars and Rods from its Vietnam Da Nang plant, satisfying the requirements of those industries where high strength and corrosion resistance at high temperatures are critical. Inconel is a series of nickel-based superalloys that are well known for their exceptional oxidation, thermal fatigue, and stress corrosion resistance. Chung Metal offers various Inconel grades to suit specific applications, including aerospace, power generation, chemical processing, and marine engineering. Our bars and rods are available in custom sizes, precision-machined to deliver reliable performance in the harshest industrial environments.
Inconel alloys usually consist of 58–75% nickel, 14–23% chromium, and other elements like molybdenum, cobalt, and iron. They retain tensile strength between 800–1200 MPa, with high high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance to 1100°C. The alloys also have great fatigue and creep resistance, low magnetic permeability, and good weldability. All grades are designed for optimum thermal, mechanical, and corrosion resistance characteristics.

Yes, Inconel bars are highly corrosion-resistant, especially in high-temperature environments. They are designed to withstand oxidation, carburization, and corrosion in aggressive media like acids and chlorides.
Yes, Inconel rods can withstand extremely high temperatures, often up to 1,000°F (537°C) or higher, making them suitable for extreme environments like aerospace, chemical processing, and gas turbines.
Yes, Inconel bars and rods can be customized in terms of length, diameter, and surface finish to meet specific requirements for different industrial applications. For more details mail us on sales@chungmetal.com
Inconel bars and rods find applications in aerospace engines, heat exchangers, reactors, gas turbines, marine components, and chemical plants. They are suitable for operations with fluctuating temperatures, pressure extremes, and corrosive conditions. Typical uses comprise turbine blades, exhaust ducts, nuclear steam generators, oil and gas equipment, and high-pressure vessels. The strength-to-weight ratio and metallurgical stability of Inconel give it a position of preference in long-term service under harsh operating conditions.
