Da Nang’s Chung Metal provides Haynes 75 Bars & Rods, a nickel-chromium alloy for application in elevated temperature service with moderate stress. With the designation UNS N06075, Haynes 75 is an oxidation and thermal-stable solution-strengthened alloy applied where fabricability, oxidation resistance, and thermal stability to around 650 °C are required. It combines good formability, strength, and weldability. Our rods and bars of Haynes 75 are produced with accurate chemical control and mechanical finishing to satisfy tough industrial and aerospace applications where long-term performance under heat, but not severe mechanical load, is a requirement.
Haynes 75 consists of about 76% nickel, ~20% chromium, up to 5% iron, and traces of manganese, silicon, aluminum, and titanium (all ≤ ~1%). It is solution‑strengthened as opposed to precipitation hardened. In room temperature in normal solution‑treated condition, tensile strength is average (usually in the ~500‑650 MPa range depending on temper and section size), yield strength lower, elongation decent. Elevated temperature oxidation resistance is good with high contents of nickel and chromium. The alloy maintains strength under continuous application up to ~600‑650 °C with adequate dimensional stability.
Haynes 75 Rods are typically available in diameters ranging from 6 mm to 100 mm, depending on the supplier. Custom sizes may also be available upon request.
Haynes 75 bars are typically available in standard diameters ranging from 6mm to 300mm or more, with lengths of 1 to 6 meters, depending on manufacturer specifications.
To maintain Haynes 75 bars, ensure proper storage in a dry environment, clean regularly to prevent contamination, avoid exposure to corrosive substances, and inspect for signs of wear or damage.
Haynes 75 Bars & Rods are applied for moderate stress high‑temperature applications: furnace parts, insulation anchors, retorts, thermowell tubing, and exhaust system components in aerospace or industrial gas turbines. Also utilized in heat‑treating fixtures, burner components, and structural supports subjected to high temperature but not excessive mechanical loading. Due to its good weldability and oxidation resistance, it’s an excellent material for parts requiring service at temperature with repeated heating/cooling cycles but where stress levels are not maximum. Engineers might select 75 where material cost and ease of fabrication are paramount along with temperature resistance.
