Chung Metal produces Stainless Steel 316Ti forgings in Da Nang, Vietnam, intended for use where stability at temperature and resistance to corrosion are simultaneously required. The titanium stabilization in 316Ti ensures that sensitization is avoided with exposure under high temperature. We deliver forgings with complete certification, dimensional precision, and surface finish appropriate for high-end chemical, offshore, and thermal applications.
316Ti has ~16–18% Cr, ~10–14% Ni, ~2–3% Mo, and titanium (~0.5–1%) to stabilize carbon. Mechanical properties are comparable to 316: tensile ~515–700 MPa, yield ~200–350 MPa, elongation ~40%. Addition of titanium enhances stability against carbide precipitation at high temperatures, improving long-term reliability. Good weldability, ductility, and toughness.
