Chung Metal provides Stainless Steel 347H forgings, a higher carbon version of 347 for improved creep strength at elevated temperatures. Our 347H forgings are manufactured with controlled composition, certified heat treatment, and dimensional accuracy. Power plant, petrochemical, and high heat industries trust 347H for structural and pressure components requiring long-term performance at high heat.
SS 347H is like 347 (Cr, Ni, Ti stabilized) but with increased carbon (~0.04–0.10 or somewhat greater), encouraging strength at high temperature. Tensile and yield characteristics similar or somewhat better compared to 347, particularly at creep conditions at high temperature. It has good ductility, stability, and toughness. At high-temperature exposure, it sustains structure and resists creep deformation more than common 347.
