Titanium Grade 1 is composed of ~99.5% pure titanium with trace amounts of elements such as Fe ≤ 0.3%, O ≤ 0.18%, N ≤ 0.03%, C ≤ 0.08%, and H ≤ 0.015%. It has the lowest strength but the highest corrosion resistance and ductility among the titanium grades. Mechanical properties are tensile strength of 240–275 MPa, yield strength of about 170–210 MPa, elongation ≥ 24%, and hardness of 70–90 HB. Density is about 4.51 g/cm³. Excellent formability and weldability also make it an excellent selection for low-stress applications in hostile environments.
