Titanium Grade 10 (Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni) is made up of ~0.3% molybdenum, ~0.8% nickel, and minute amounts of iron and oxygen with the balance as titanium. It has a better corrosion resistance in reducing acids and chloride-containing environments. Mechanical properties are tensile strength of about 450–550 MPa, yield strength of ~400–480 MPa, and elongation of ~18–20%. Its density is approximately 4.54 g/cm³. It is highly resistant to crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and erosion in dynamic fluid systems. It can be welded well and has ductility even at low temperatures.
