Titanium Grade 3 consists of about 99.2% titanium with small quantities of oxygen (≤0.3%), iron (≤0.3%), carbon, nitrogen, and hydrogen. It possesses superior strength compared to Grades 1 and 2 with a typical tensile strength of 440–480 MPa and yield strength of 380–420 MPa. Elongation is about 20%, while hardness is about 100–120 HB. The density is still ~4.51 g/cm³. This grade is a good combination of strength and formability, offering excellent resistance against corrosion in oxidizing media. It has weldability and cold-forming properties of moderate nature.
