Da Nang, Vietnam-based Chung Metal Manufacturer & Suppliers provides Titanium Grade 11 Bars and Rods for high corrosion-resistant, excellent weldability applications. As a low-interstitial Grade 1 variant, Grade 11 features the addition of palladium, which increases resistance to reducing acids. Chung Metal provides material certification, accurate machining, and quick turnaround to industrial and commercial customers. The rods are customized to serve industries such as chemical processing, marine, and energy applications. Renowned for providing purity and consistency, Chung Metal maintains high-performance requirements with materials that can endure hostile environments and corrosive chemicals in extended operating cycles.
The composition of Grade 11 is about 99.5% titanium, plus 0.12–0.25% palladium to enhance corrosion resistance in reducing and acid environments. Tensile strength is 240–275 MPa, yield strength ~170–210 MPa, and elongation ≥24%. The Brinell hardness is ~70–90 HB. Density is still ~4.51 g/cm³. Grade 11 possesses the ductility and formability of Grade 1 but provides enhanced protection from crevice and pitting corrosion. It is also extremely weldable and applicable to pressure equipment in extremely aggressive service conditions.

Common titanium grades for bar manufacturing include Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), Grade 7, Grade 9, Grade 11, and Grade 12, each offering unique strength and corrosion resistance.
Titanium Grade 11 Bars and Rods exhibit excellent resistance to galvanic corrosion due to the addition of palladium, making them suitable for environments involving dissimilar metals and harsh chemical conditions.
Titanium Grade 11 Bars and Rods are best utilized in chemical process environments where reducing acids such as sulfuric acid are utilized. They are used in storage tanks, reaction vessels, heat exchangers, and marine applications exposed to biofouling and brine. Their superior corrosion resistance renders them ideal for pulp and paper processing, chlor-alkali manufacture, and electroplating systems. Because of their weldability and purity, they’re also utilized in high-purity piping for pharma and semiconductor applications. Grade 11 is a trustworthy material for pressure vessels, pipes, and systems handling aggressive chlorides and acidic media.
