Chung Metal provides high-performance Stainless Steel 904L Rectangular Bars, super austenitic stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance in aggressive environments. SS 904L has high contents of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, which also make it perfect for use in strong acid and chloride environments. The rectangular bar shape is appropriate for structural frameworks, support bases, and pressure vessel parts. Chung Metal produces 904L rectangular bars with better surface finish, uniform thickness, and close dimensional tolerance. SS 904L has a composition of around 19–23% chromium, 23–28% nickel, 4–5% molybdenum, and supplemented copper for acid resistance. It has tensile strength of approximately 490–740 MPa, yield strength of around 220–300 MPa, and elongation of more than 35%. It is non-magnetic, extremely weldable, and possesses superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. The rectangular bar shape is suitable for flat structural components and for corrosion-resistance plate manufacturing.
