Made in Da Nang, our 6061 bars and rods possess superior strength, corrosion resistance, weldability, and machinability. 6061 is available in a variety of tempers such as T6 and T651 and is utilized in many industries like aerospace, automobile, construction, and marine. Aluminium 6061 has ~0.4–0.8% silicon, 0.8–1.2% magnesium, and ~0.15–0.4% copper. It is heat-treatable with good strength and corrosion resistance. Tensile strength (T6 temper): ~290–320 MPa; yield strength ~240–270 MPa; elongation: ~12–18%. Brinell hardness: ~95 HB. Excellent weldability and machinability, particularly in T6 or T651 tempers. Good resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Anodizing can be done on it. A balanced alloy for strength, corrosion resistance, and ease of fabrication.
