Chung Metal supplies Stainless Steel 304L Hollow Bars within its expansive range of stainless steel products from Da Nang, Vietnam. Grade 304L is the low-carbon variant of the widely used 304, with excellent weldability and corrosion resistance. At Chung Metal, we maintain product quality through accurate manufacturing, traceability of materials, and testing. Our 304L hollow bars are best suited for applications in the food processing industry, chemical plants, and architectural buildings where hygiene, corrosion resistance, and strength of structure matter.
304L Stainless Steel has about 18–20% chromium, 8–12% nickel, and up to 0.03% carbon content. The austenitic alloy is highly formable and weldable. Its tensile strength is 485–620 MPa, yield strength of 170–275 MPa, and elongation of about 40%. The low carbon allows it to resist carbide precipitation during welding and make corrosion-resistant weldments suitable. It is not magnetic in the annealed state and is highly ductile and tough at cryogenic temperatures.

SS 304L hollow bars are widely used in industries for structural supports, pipelines, and components requiring high corrosion resistance and strength, including chemical processing, food and beverage equipment, marine applications, and pharmaceutical machinery, due to their durability and weldability.
The low carbon content in SS 304L minimizes carbide precipitation during welding, reducing the risk of intergranular corrosion. This enhances weldability, making it ideal for applications requiring extensive welding without compromising corrosion resistance or mechanical properties.
SS 304L has superior corrosion resistance compared to SS 304 due to its lower carbon content, which minimizes carbide precipitation during welding. This reduces susceptibility to intergranular corrosion, making SS 304L ideal for welded structures in corrosive environments.
Stainless Steel 304L Hollow Bars find extensive applications in environments calling for cleanliness and corrosion resistance. Common uses are pharmaceutical processing equipment, food and beverage machinery, kitchen equipment, storage tanks, piping, and architectural railings. In chemical and marine industries, 304L is utilized in parts away from aggressive chloride surroundings. Due to its weldability, it can be applied for fabrication of pressure vessels, frames, and tanks. Its low carbon content guarantees structural stability even after welded or heated repeatedly.
