Chung Metal provides Stainless Steel 310S Hollow Bars with excellent resistance to corrosion at high temperatures. Manufactured in Da Nang, Vietnam, our 310S version has the same strength and heat resistance as 310 but with reduced carbon to enhance weldability. Stainless Steel 310S is composed of 24–26% chromium, 19–22% nickel, and up to 0.08% carbon. It has superior resistance to oxidation and corrosion with tensile strength approximately 520–750 MPa, yield strength of ~205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. It has low carbon content to prevent sensitization when welding. It is suitable for use in continuous service at temperatures up to 1150°C and can be used in both reducing as well as oxidizing environments.
