Chung Metal provides high-quality Stainless Steel 317L Hollow Bars from Da Nang, Vietnam, designed for applications demanding optimal corrosion resistance in harsh environments. 317L is a low-carbon, high-molybdenum stainless steel with increased resistance to chemical attack. Chung Metal delivers tight tolerance, uniform mechanical properties, and excellent surface finish for application in demanding industries such as chemical processing, pollution control, and pulp & paper. Our 317L hollow bars can be supplied in different sizes and lengths to suit high-requirement project needs.
Stainless Steel 317L has 18–20% chromium, 11–15% nickel, and 3–4% molybdenum content, with ≤ 0.03% carbon. It provides better pitting and crevice corrosion resistance compared to 316L. The tensile strength is ~500–620 MPa, yield strength is 170–275 MPa, and elongation is ≥ 40%. It is non-magnetic in the annealed state and resists high chemical and thermal stress in structure. Low carbon content increases weldability and minimizes sensitization.
