Chung Metal offers heat- and corrosion-resistant Stainless Steel 310 Round Bars and Rods, a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel alloyed for high-temperature service. SS 310 has good oxidation resistance, creep property, and thermal cycling performance. In round bar form, it is best suited for pressure-bearing parts, shafts, and structural parts subjected to high heat. Chung Metal ensures all 310 round bars meet strict industry standards with excellent surface finishes, strength, and dimensional consistency for use in power generation, heat treatment, and high-temperature processing.
SS 310 is 24–26% chromium, 19–22% nickel, and trace carbon (~0.08%). It has 520–750 MPa tensile strength and 200–300 MPa yield strength. It is stable up to 1100°C. Non-magnetic in annealed state, good creep and oxidation resistance. Round form favors mechanical and rotational uses.
