Chung Metal offers corrosion-resistant Stainless Steel 316Ti Round Bars and Rods, a titanium-stabilized version of SS 316 for improved resistance to intergranular corrosion and stability at high temperatures. SS 316Ti is best suited for welded applications and high-temperature use where carbide precipitation can be a problem. The round bar form is ideal for shafts, tubesheets, fasteners, and load-bearing parts in hostile chemical and thermal conditions. Chung Metal supplies 316Ti bars in polished or unfinished forms, appropriate for applications involving industrial-grade strength as well as corrosion protection.
316Ti has 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and titanium additions. It provides tensile strength of 500–750 MPa and yield strength of 200–300 MPa. Stable up to 870°C and non-magnetic, it integrates strength with resistance to acid and chloride attack. Its round shape provides easy machinability and even load distribution.
