We produce top-grade Stainless Steel 310S Round Bars and Rods, which is a low-carbon variant of SS 310 with improved weldability and oxidation resistance in high-temperature conditions. SS 310S is meant for high-temperature service and has good strength, thermal fatigue resistance, and corrosion stability. Its round bar shape accommodates high-heat rotating equipment, furnace parts, and structural systems. Chung Metal offers 310S bars with smooth finishes, consistent mechanical properties, and uniform chemistry for application in harsh industrial conditions.
SS 310S has 24–26% chromium, 19–22% nickel, and ≤0.08% carbon. It provides tensile strength of 520–750 MPa, yield strength of 200–300 MPa, and high performance to 1100°C. It is non-magnetic and oxidation-resistant, and provides high thermal stability. The round form is best for rotating or pressurized parts.
