Chung Metal provides Stainless Steel 321 round bars and rods—an austenitic, titanium‑stabilized composition that can be used to withstand high heat and inhibit intergranular corrosion. Produced in Da Nang with rigorous quality procedures, our 321 rods comply with mechanical, metallurgical, and dimensional requirements. Chemical processing, aerospace, and heat‑treatment equipment industries use 321 bar stock for components exposed to cyclic heat. Shafts, structural members, and fasteners at high temperatures find use with our rods. Our 321 rods from Chung Metal have good weldability and stability and are relied upon in hostile thermal situations.
SS 321 has ~17–19% chromium, ~9–12% nickel, ~0.3% titanium, with moderate carbon (~0.04–0.10%), and small Mn, Si. It offers tensile strength ~620–750 MPa, yield strength ~275–380 MPa, elongation ~30–40%. It has good creep resistance to ~900 °F (≈480 °C), and excellent intergranular corrosion resistance due to titanium stabilization. Hardness is moderate. It maintains toughness and ductility under alternating temperature conditions, and is weldable using conventional methods.

Yes, Stainless Steel 321 Round Bars and Rods can be used for underground applications. Their excellent corrosion resistance, especially in high-temperature and acidic environments, makes them suitable for underground pipelines and structures.
Stainless Steel 321 Round Bars and Rods are generally resistant to galvanic corrosion. However, when in contact with more anodic metals in corrosive environments, they may experience some risk of galvanic corrosion.
Yes, Stainless Steel 321 Round Bars and Rods can be recycled after use. Stainless steel is highly recyclable, retaining its properties even after multiple recycling cycles, making it an environmentally sustainable material for various applications.
