Chung Metal provides Stainless Steel 316 Hex Bars and Rods, produced in Da Nang, Vietnam, for marine, chemical, and industrial use. 316 stainless steel is recognized for its excellent corrosion resistance because of the presence of molybdenum, making it suitable for extreme conditions. Our 316 hex bars are exported in accurate cut and processed sizes for application in fasteners, marine fittings, and structure supports.
316 has 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and carbon ≤ 0.08%. It provides tensile strength of 515–690 MPa, yield strength ~205 MPa, and elongation ≥ 40%. It’s non-magnetic and resists pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments.
