Made in Da Nang, Vietnam, this low-carbon form of 316 is particularly ideal for welded components. Our hex bars of 316L are used extensively in the pharmaceutical, marine, and food processing industries where purity, cleanliness, and toughness are required.
316L contains 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and carbon ≤ 0.03%. It possesses tensile strength of 485–620 MPa, yield strength ~170–275 MPa, and elongation ≥ 40%. It has resistance against corrosion even after welding and is non-magnetic under annealing condition.
