304H has 18–20% chromium, 8–11% nickel, and carbon of 0.04–0.10%, which is greater than standard 304. It possesses tensile strength of about 500–700 MPa and yield strength ~205–275 MPa. Increased carbon enhances strength at high temperatures. It retains satisfactory corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance in use up to 870°C. It is non-magnetic in annealed condition.
