Chung Metal, based in Đà Nẵng, Vietnam, is a reliable exporter and manufacturer of Stainless Steel 321 Bars/Rods, a titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel. Resisting intergranular corrosion during and after welding, SS 321 finds extensive use in thermal cycling and high-temperature conditions. Chung Metal produces 321 rods of precise dimensions and smooth surface finish, suitable for pressure-retaining and heat-exposed services. Exhibiting superior mechanical properties and resistance to oxidation, these bars are offered in a range of lengths and finishes suitable for industrial applications in power, chemical, and aerospace industries.
Stainless Steel 321 has a typical composition of 17–19% chromium, 9–12% nickel, and titanium content of at least fivefold the carbon content (to avoid carbide formation). Carbon is ≤ 0.08%. The material has tensile strength of 500–700 MPa, yield strength of 200–300 MPa, and elongation of 35–45%. SS 321 maintains mechanical properties at temperatures up to 870°C. It is weldable, non-magnetic, and possesses superior oxidation and intergranular corrosion resistance in high-temperature conditions. Due to these characteristics, it is ideal for continuous exposure to high temperatures.

Stainless Steel 321 offers excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion, especially in high-temperature environments. It also provides exceptional stability and strength, making it suitable for various industrial applications.
Yes, Stainless Steel 321 is well-suited for welding. Its titanium stabilization prevents intergranular corrosion during welding, ensuring structural integrity and longevity.
These bars and rods are widely used in aerospace, chemical processing, heat exchangers, automotive exhaust systems, and other industries requiring high-temperature and corrosion-resistant materials.
Stainless Steel 321 bars/rods are employed in furnace components, thermal processing equipment, chemical tanks, exhaust manifolds, expansion joints, as well as heat exchangers. Because of its thermal cycling resistance, SS 321 is utilized in aircraft exhausts, refinery processing, and petrochemical equipment. It excels in any application that involves welding but the precipitation of carbides should be prevented. Chung Metal supplies SS 321 bars in custom size and temper conditions to meet severe applications in aviation, oil and gas, boiler and heat exchanger applications in industrial heating systems, and chemical processing, where weldability and high-temperature resistance are crucial.
