Chung Metal provides stabilized Stainless Steel 316Ti Bars and Rods for use in high-temperature and corrosive media applications. 316Ti is a titanium-stabilized alternative to 316 that avoids carbide precipitation when welding and heating for extended periods. Our 316Ti products, made in Da Nang, Vietnam, comply with international standards and are supplied in different sizes and finishes. With higher strength and corrosion resistance, Chung Metal’s 316Ti bars are perfect for use in heat exchangers, piping systems, and marine structures.
316Ti contains 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and 0.5–0.7% titanium, with carbon ≤ 0.08%. The titanium also produces stable carbides, enhancing resistance to sensitization. Mechanical properties: tensile strength ~515–690 MPa, yield strength ~205 MPa, elongation ≥ 40%. It has excellent corrosion resistance in acidic as well as chloride environments.
