Chung Metal exports Aluminium 7075 forgings from Da Nang, Vietnam, for high-performance and high-strength applications. 7075 is a Zn‑Mg‑Cu alloy that possesses superior mechanical properties and finds broad application in aerospace, sports, and high-stress structural components. Our forging processes retain fine grain structure, uniformity, and complete certification. We produce forged components like structural elements, brackets, and fittings with high load-carrying capacity and reduced weight. Sectors including aviation, defense, automotive, and sporting goods use our 7075 forgings to fulfill applications in challenging environments where fatigue resistance, strength, and reduced weight are essential.
Aluminium 7075 has ~5.1–6.1% zinc, ~2.1–2.9% magnesium, ~1.2–2.0% copper, with traces of chromium, iron, and manganese. In T6/T7351 temper, tensile strength ~560–590 MPa, yield strength ~505–540 MPa, elongation ~8–12%. Hardness is high. Density ~2.81 g/cm³. It provides great fatigue strength, high static strength, and average corrosion resistance (less than 5xxx etc.). Forging makes it tougher and more homogeneous than by casting or extruded products.

Yes, Aluminum 7075 can be forged into shapes with tight tolerances. Its high strength allows for precise shaping, but careful control of temperature and pressure is required for optimal results.
Aluminum 7075 offers high strength, excellent fatigue resistance, low weight, good machinability, and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for custom forgings in aerospace, military, and high-performance applications.
Aluminum 7075 is not ideal for high-temperature forging applications due to its relatively low melting point and limited thermal stability. It is better suited for aerospace and structural applications at moderate temperatures.
7075 forgings are found in stressed structural components: aircraft fittings, die supports, machine bases, gearboxes, and specialty bicycle components. 7075 forgings are found on automotive high-performance uses like suspension arms and structural bracing. They are found on military and defense applications where strength and light weight are a requirement. On sporting goods — frames, handlebars, and structural bars — 7075 forgings exhibit good durability and stiffness. The alloy’s elevated strength qualifies it for load-critical, weight-conscious designs.
